A landmark summit for Caribbean influencers and content creators is set to take place October 3-5, 2024, bringing together hundreds of participants from across the region.
Event creator Jamicia McCalman-Nelson told 284 Media that the summit aims to support Caribbean influencers and bridge gaps in the content creator market.
McCalman-Nelson highlighted the economic potential of the industry, citing projections that the content and influence marketing industries are expected to grow to approximately $42.7 billion by 2032.
However, she noted a significant regional disparity.

The summit aims to address this issue by advancing monetization opportunities for Caribbean content creators across various social media platforms.
The organisers hope this initiative will help reduce unemployment in the Caribbean by creating new opportunities in the digital content industry.
