Christmas in the City will this year honour the founding members and entertainer “Candy Man” as part of its 25th year of celebrations.
The event seeks to bring together the Virgin Islands and friends on December 1st and 2nd this year to ring in the Christmas season with food and music in a block party style.
Speaking on this year’s edition in a recent interview with 284 Media was City Manager and Organizer Mrs. Janise Bratwaithe-Edwards.
She spoke about the journey thus far.
The city manager then shared that the founding members along with Mr. Keith “Candy Man” Fahie who has been a part of the activities as an entertainer since its inception, will be honoured for their contributions.
Braithwaite-Edwards also shared who the other founding members are that will be honoured.
Additionally, she said the participation this year has increased particularly around the youth.
