The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has identified the deceased in a tragic incident that occurred on a barge off Pockwood Pond, Tortola. The victim was 55-year-old Noel Groves, a resident of Pockwood Pond.
On Saturday, February 17, the RVIPF received a report of an incident where three males entered a tank on the barge and subsequently became unconscious. Greaves was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other individuals involved in the incident were rushed to Dr. Orlando Hospital for treatment. They have since been released.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
