Junior Minister for Tourism and Culture Hon. Luce Hodge-Smith expressed a mix of pride and resolve as she reflected on accomplishments and challenges marking one year since taking office.
Delivering remarks during the Territorial Address, the Representative for the 4th District said while the past year has flown by, her eagerness to drive progress in the community remains steadfast.
The Junior Minister highlighted ongoing initiatives in Joes Hill and Long Bush as examples of constituency projects her team has advanced over the past 12 months, despite bureaucratic hurdles.
Turning to her ministerial portfolio, Hodge-Smith said she has overseen meaningful strides in developing the territory’s cultural and tourism product offerings in her first year at the helm.
Looking ahead, the Junior Minister said she hopes to build on the year’s achievements through continued collaboration with residents, businesses and other stakeholders.
