The BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) is set to host its first-ever career exposition on Friday, November 29, aiming to connect residents with exciting opportunities in the energy sector.
During a press conference, BVIEC officials shared details of the event, which will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and feature live demonstrations, interactive display booths, and appearances by distinguished guests, including Premier Dr. the Hon. Natalio Wheatley.
Dr. Neil Smith, BVIEC’s General Manager, highlighted the significance of the expo, describing it as a vital step toward positioning the corporation at the forefront of the energy sector’s future.
The expo will provide insight into a variety of career paths within BVIEC. According to Deputy Human Resource Manager Shonda Cameron, there are openings across several departments, including linesmen, mechanics, administrative staff, and technical positions.
