Well known BVI resident Carlos Sutherland was on Thursday February 29th, 2024, shot dead in his homeland of Trinidad shortly after 5pm.
Sutherland was at the time visiting family in Trinidad and was expected to return to the BVI on March 1st, 2024.
The shooting incident which claimed Sutherland’s life took place at the home of his mother, at Mount Zion Road, Arima, Trinidad. Sutherland, aged 42, died on the spot.
