In a targeted operation on Friday, March 1, officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) executed a successful search in the vicinity of the basketball court in Purcell Estate, Tortola which resulted in the seizure of guns, ammunition and drugs.
The RVIPF confirmed that during the search, law enforcement officials discovered two firearms, several rounds of ammunition, a substantial quantity of marijuana, and a quantity of crack cocaine. Police said the findings prompted the immediate apprehension of four individuals who are now in custody for questioning regarding the illicit items.
