The Bath and Turtle Restaurant on Virgin Gorda was the target of an armed robbery on Friday, June 7.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) confirmed the incident, noting that it occurred just before their statement was released at 10:15 p.m.
“Officers are currently on the scene,” the RVIPF stated in their brief update. Details of the robbery, including whether there were any injuries or the value of the stolen items, have not yet been disclosed.
The police have assured the public that more information will be provided as it becomes available.
