POLICE SEARCH FOR SUSPECTS FOLLOWING ARMED HOME INVASION IN COCODELLA

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is conducting an intensive search for three suspects who fled following an armed home invasion in the Cocodella area on the afternoon of Monday, December 2.

According to a statement issued by the RVIPF, officers responded to a report of a home invasion shortly after 3:00 p.m. Upon arrival, police encountered armed suspects, leading to an exchange of gunfire.

One suspect was apprehended at the scene and is currently in custody at the Road Town Police Station for questioning. However, three other suspects managed to escape on foot, including one who sustained injuries during the confrontation.

Despite extensive searches of the area, the remaining suspects have not yet been located.

The RVIPF is urging anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward.
