Summer Sizzle BVI has become the Caribbean’s premiere fashion and lifestyle destination experience held in the British Virgin Islands. The 14-year anniversary event is scheduled for July 25 – 28, 2024 creating an epic mix of Fashion, Art, Music, Beauty & Culture. Celebrities, VIP Guests, top international and local models, kid models, fashion designers, beauty insiders, media influencers, local artists, and top DJs, are all lined up for this spectacular event. This year’s Global Glamour Runway Show will be hosted by Yaya DaCosta, renowned Actress and Model who will bring her unique blend of talent and charisma to the Global Glamour Runway Show on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Yaya DaCosta, renowned from America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3, is notable for roles in “Our Kind of People” and “Chicago Med,” She’s left an indelible mark on both television and film. Noteworthy credits include her portrayal in the jazz biopic “Bolden” alongside Nelsan Ellis, Ian McShane, and Gary Carr, as well as her starring role in the 2015 Whitney Houston biopic “Whitney,” directed by Angela Bassett.

Economic Impact
Every year the event attracts visitors which contribute to the BVI’s Tourism Industry. Guests stay at several hotels, resorts and Airbnb where costs include Tourism Tax and Service Charges for government and employees of properties.
Every guest pays environmental tax and departure tax, support local restaurants, supermarkets, ferry services, taxis, car rentals and stores; and many attend events in the Festival Village each year. We have seen many visitors extend their stay before the actual Summer Sizzle BVI Event and after the event to enjoy the culture and beauty of the BVI.
The BVI benefits from Summer Sizzle BVI. Our guests leave the BVI raving about the event and the destination, and promote the BVI within their network, social media, at other events, and with family and friends; says Terry Donovan.

Cape Air Dress-to-impress contest!
Three best-dressed females and males will be selected by a judging panel and will face off on the Runway. The male and female winners will be determined by the crowd’s applause, with each receiving a round-trip ticket on Cape Air to anywhere the airline flies in the Caribbean.
Elevated VIP Premium Experience
We are creating a VIP Premium Seating Area where guests can sit in the VIP Lounge for the Cocktail Reception from 6:00PM – 7:30PM and view the show with cocktails, wine and hors d’oeuvres.
Summer Sizzle BVI is also launching two beautifully customized totes that will be available for purchase. VIP Premium Ticket Holders will receive the custom Summer Sizzle BVI vibrant-printed tote.

Calling BVI Artists
The ‘When Art Meets Fashion Gala’ will provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work at Long Bay Beach Resort, where works will be on display from Wednesday July 24 to Friday July 26. The artists will also have an opportunity to display at the Global Glamour Runway Show on Saturday July 27 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.
