Last night the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board and Film Commission received the 2019 Platinum HSMAI Adrian Award for Digital Marketing in collaboration with MMGY Myriad, the Board’s Marketing agency responsible for North America and Canada.
According to the Board, “BVI’s brand position ‘Nature’s Little Secrets’ has long been the cornerstone of all advertising initiatives for the destination. Prior communications shared with travelers, in a whisper, the secrets of the BVI and encouraged those in the know to ‘keep it to themselves.’ However, post hurricane, BVI could no longer afford to whisper and wanted a bolder message about all the islands have to offer, without losing the positioning of ‘Nature’s Little Secrets”.
“Today’s Secret” approached both the idea of revealing a secret to an interested traveler & communicated that the images being shown were real time.
HSMAI’s Adrian Awards Dinner Reception and Gala, held last evening at the New York Marriott Marquis, recognizes inspiring best practices in sales and marketing for the hospitality industry.
