In an effort to raise awareness in the BVI, the Breast Cancer Awareness Club presents ‘Head Wrap Day.’
The objective of World Cancer Day is to save millions from preventable deaths across the world by raising awareness and education about cancer, and pressing individuals to take action against the disease. World Cancer Day is observed internationally on February 4th 2020. Women of the Virgin Islands are encouraged to wear head wraps throughout the day in observance of World Cancer Day. The Club will recognize World Cancer Day under the theme “Protect the Mind”.
Women who wear a head wrap are encouraged to submit photos to the club’s Facebook page at Breast Cancer Awareness Club
