A teacher from the Ivan Dawson Primary School has found herself in deep trouble for allegedly forcing a child to gargle Pine-sol. Our newsroom heard that the teacher pressured the child to use the substance because she was using foul language in school.
The teacher did not report to work today and an investigation is pending at the moment. We reached out to the Ministry of Education who said that a statement is forthcoming.
If found guilty, the Teaching Services Commission will be responsible for disciplining the teacher.
More details to follow shortly.
