The BVI Red Cross has received a donation from the National Bank of the Virgin Islands towards the agency’s humanitarian work in the Territory.
Director of BVI Red Cross Ms. Stacy Lloyd received the $1,000 contribution from National Bank’s Chief Operations Manager Mr. Wade Richardson.
In an invited comment, Ms. Lloyd said, “We are grateful for National Bank’s continued support towards our humanity work in the Virgin Islands community.”
She continued, “The money will go towards our programmes which assist the most vulnerable during and after crises.”
Ms. Lloyd also took the opportunity to remind persons of the agency’s other fundraising efforts, including the upcoming 2020 Nissan Kicks Raffle. The drawing will take place at the Caribbean Insurers Ltd (CIL) Courtyard on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2020.
