Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 – Caribbean Cellular Telephone (CCT BVI) continues to closely monitor developments related to the current outbreak of the Coronavirus known as COVID-19. Here’s how we’re responding:
1. Our focus today is the same as every day. We are committed to ensuring that our customers have access to the most reliable telecommunications network in the British Virgin Islands, now and in the days and weeks to come. Following guidelines from public health authorities, including the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), we continue to implement strategies to protect our workforce and ensure continuity of operations for our customers. CCT BVI is committed to keeping our stores open and our technicians in the field serving customers, though operations may change depending on current conditions locally, regionally and internationally.
2. Effective March 18th through April 15th, out of an abundance of caution and to help do our part to increase social distancing, CCT BVI stores will be operating from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. (Note: CCT BVI store at Tortola Pier park will be closed.) In the mutual public interest of our staff and the community we are asking customers to limit store visits to signing up for new service, buying new devices or trouble shooting existing devices. Customers are asked to please pay their bills online at www.cctbvi.com or through direct deposit at First Caribbean or Banco Popular. In addition, the CCT BVI call center is always available to process payments via the telephone at (284) 444-4444.
3. CCT BVI has upgraded all current Freedom One customers to our new and improved plan, Freedom Bronze, which increases their high-speed data allotment to 15 GB, and also includes 50 Caribbean calling minutes to select islands at no additional cost. This change reflects CCT BVI’s continuous commitment to upgrading our services to meet the growing needs of our consumers. Additionally, CCT BVI is now offering two additional Freedom plans, Freedom Silver and Freedom Gold that offer even more benefits.

4. CCT BVI recognizes the immediate need of the community for robust data services to facilitate work from home and remote learning needs.
