Reports reaching our newsroom just confirmed that Banco Popular in Virgin Gorda was robbed at gunpoint today.
As a result prime businesses around the area are now on lockdown pending an investigation.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is currently on the scene investigating the incident and will soon make an official report.
