Following the most recent Cabinet meeting held today, Thursday 9th April, the Minister of Health, Honorable Carvin Malone, announced that two of the three confirmed cases of COVID-19 have tested negative and are deemed recovered. They were among the most recent tests conducted by the Health Services Authority, of which all returned negative. As a result, only one case of Coronavirus is current in the British Virgin Islands.
It was further confirmed that of the 143 persons quarantined, 138 have been cleared, bringing the current toll to 5. Those persons continue to be monitored by the Client Support Center constructed by Cabinet.
To date 66 persons were tested.
