The patient who recently tested positive for Coronavirus in the territory has died.
Initial reports reaching our newsroom had confirmed that the patient was admitted to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital in a critical condition and was receiving care in the Isolation Unit, retrofitted to deal with severe cases.
This is the first Coronavirus-related death in the territory. To date four persons have tested positive, with two of those recovered and with one death. This results in only one case being current in the territory.
