BVI BUSINESSES TO BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED BEFORE RE-OPENING TO PUBLIC

BVI businesses will not be allowed to re-open without passing inspections conducted by the Environmental Health Division and the Social Distancing Task Force.

The task force was conducting inspections of private businesses today, April 26 in preparations for re-opening on April 27.

Inspections are being conducted to ensure that proper hygiene, social distancing and the recommended personal protection equipment are in place to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The BVI business community worked diligently to implement proper measures, place signages and organize facilities in preparation to serve customers while protecting them against the spread of the virus.

Businesses that have not been inspected will not be permitted to open until authorities have given the mandated approval.

Business owners who have not been contacted are asked to submit the names of persons who will be present to prepare their enterprise for inspections by emailing ministryofhealth@gov.vg.
