IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT OFFERS APPROINTMENT-ONLY SERVICES FROM MAY 4TH

GIS – The Immigration Department will commence its by appointment-only services from Monday, May 4, in accordance with the scheduled reopening of the Public Service of the Virgin Islands.

All visitors in the Territory are urged to contact the department on Tortola at telephone 1 (284) 468-9639 to schedule an appointment. Missed appointments will be re-scheduled at a later date.  

Persons are reminded that they are to make an appointment and wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth when visiting the department. In failure to do so, customers will forfeit their chance to be served.

Visitors on Virgin Gorda and Anegada are also asked to contact the Virgin Gorda Department of Immigration at 1 (284) 468-6520/6521 or 1 (284) 468-6606 to schedule an appointment.  Missed appointments will be re-scheduled for a later date. 

These measures are being implemented to adhere to proper social distancing guidelines established by the Ministry of Health and Social Development. 

 Information regarding all other processes will be forthcoming at a later date. Persons requiring other services should contact the department by email at immigrationinfo@gov.vg. 

The requirements needed for an extension at this time for VISITORS ONLY are as follows:

●   A valid passport to include passports of dependents

●  A fee of ten ($10) dollars will be collected upon completion of the process.
