LOCAL BUSINESS MAKES DONATION TOWARDS VIRTUAL LEARNING INITIATIVE

The BVI community continues to see private-public partnerships during the global pandemic.

Quality Constructions pledge to the Minister of Education, Hon. Natalio Wheatley, a donation of 6 laptops. These laptops will be used in the Ministry’s virtual learning efforts.

Mr. Roy Garraway, Owner of Quality Construction explained as the spouse of a local educator and principal, he understands the task the Territory is charged with to educate students during these times.

Classes will be presented to students using virtual platforms such as Cisco Webex and Google Suite, Notemaster, Flow Study, Google Classroom and Class Dojo. Students will engage in live virtual class sessions commencing May 4.

Minister for Education stated prior to reopening of the semester, the Ministry was holding discussions with companies, in hopes of expanding access to technological resources and the internet.

Quality Construction and other companies have contributed resources and/or donations to the territory during this global pandemic.
