The British Virgin Islands will operate under the current “midnight” curfew order for an additional two weeks.
This was confirmed by the Governor’s office and signed off on by Deputy Governor, David Archer.
The public is reminded that under Order NO.24, the Curfew continues from midnight to 5:00 a.m. daily, subject to such conditions as stipulated in this Order.
Private vessels are allowed to continue uisng Territorial waters during full daylight hours from 5:01 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and ferries between 5:00 a.m. and midnight.
Residents are also able to access beaches from 5:01 a.m. and 11:59p.m.
The BVI Health Services Authority has tested 622 individuals, with 614 returning negative and 8 positive results to date. Currently there are no active cases.
