According to DDM, the National Hurricane Centre has upgraded Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine to Tropical Storm Isaias making it the ninth tropical storm of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
At 11pm the centre of Tropical Storm Isaias was located 15.8 degrees north, 67.0 degrees west, or approximately 242 miles southwest of the Virgin Islands.
The tropical storm continues to move west northwest at 20 mph. This movement is expected to continue for the next several days.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 50 mph with higher gusts. Minimum Central Pressure is 1004 Mb
Impacts
· Squalls producing heavy rainfall and gusty winds
· Small Craft Warning remains in place until Thursday
· Breaking swells may create ponding of water and debris in coastal roads.
