As of the 30th July 2020, the Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has issued a new curfew order, Curfew (No. 25) Order, 2020, which basically extends the previous curfew conditions.
This curfew order imposes the following curfew on the Territory between hours 12:00 midnight to 5:00a.m. daily. No person shall be on the street during these specified hours.
All businesses are permitted to open and operate between the hours of 5:01a.m. to 11:59p.m. daily. Businesses are reminded that all social distancing protocols and sanitisation measures should be followed.
For the boating community, private vessels are permitted to operate within Territorial waters between the hours 5:01a.m. to 7:00p.m. daily. Ferries are permitted to operate between 5:00a.m. to 12:00 midnight daily.
Beaches will remain open between the hours of 5:01a.m. to 11:59 p.m., for the purposes of exercise and therapy.
This curfew will be enforced until Thursday 13th August, 2020.
The midnight curfew was first imposed on June 18th and has since been extended three (3) times through consecutive curfew orders.
