Many residents across the island of Tortola are now without running water following a damaged line.
This was confirmed by the Director of the Water and Sewage Department, Mrs. Perline Scatliffe-Leonard who said “customers from Lambert to Hope Hill into Cane Garden Bay and from Fish Bay down to Slaney are advised that the water supply has been interrupted due to a burst line at Sabbath Hill which has impacted the distribution side of the network.”
The post which was made via her personal Facebook profile further stated that the situation will be remedied by midday today.
