At a recent virtual general assembly Principal of the Elmore Stoutt High School Mrs. Vanessa Garraway introduced two new assistant principals to the general public.
Students, parents, faculty and staff meet Virgin Islanders Ms. Deann Parsons and Ms. Marsha Penn who now join Mr. Cecil Hodge and Mrs. Letetia Penn Rodgers as assistant principals.
While their direct portfolios are still unclear, their duties involve overall assistance to the head principal.
Ms. Parsons, a long standing educator has served as a Science Teacher and head of department, while Ms. Penn has served as a mathematics teacher as well as assisted in areas of discipline.
The Elmore Stoutt High School is home to some 1390 students, 790 Juniors and 600 Seniors.
Presently, public schools are being opened in phases. At the moment only the following groups are allowed for in person instructions, while all other students are online:
Technical education students; Students with special needs; and Marginalized students and adult education students, as specified and approved by the Chief Education Officer.
