Local author, Lucinda Gordon said that her latest book is about her life-changing ordeal with domestic violence and her courage and journey to recovery.
Ms. Gordon said her book, “My Shattered Life” is expected to provoke readers’ emotions when they read the details of her life while still rejoicing in her strength and ability to share her story to help others facing the similar situations to be overcomers.
“In our lives, we will experience sorrow, heartache, pain and loss. How we handle these emotions would determine whether we will continue to have a healthy comfortable and productive life,” Ms. Gordon said.
The book will be launched on Tuesday, January 26 at the Central Administration Complex Breezeway at 5:00 p.m. in collaboration with the Department of Culture.
