Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer said he was happy with the restoration of water to residents on Anegada.
Honourable Rymer in a statement during the Ninth Sitting of the Third Session of the Fourth House of Assembly thanked the residents for their patience and stated that these situations occur from time to time.
“The Territory seems to be plagued with a multitude of water issues, and we continuously hear and address the cries from the community,” Honourable Rymer said.
He commended the Water and Sewerage Department and the BVI Electricity Corporation for their collaboration to provide the people of Anegada with water within 24 hours.
The Water and Sewerage Department continues to seek to ensure the provision of a continuous supply of potable water to all the residents of the Virgin Islands, efficiently and at affordable rates.
