Officers of the Major Crime Team are continuing their investigations into yesterday evening’s incident at Her Majesty’s Prison that resulted in the death of one male inmate and injuries to at least three others.
Nickail Chambers, 29, and two other males were taken to Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital for injuries sustained in an apparent altercation. Chambers subsequently died of his injuries.
Two men have been arrested in relation to this investigation however no charges have yet been laid.
Investigations are ongoing.
