Director of Youth Services Mr. Aaron F Parillon alongside Immediate Past President Mrs. Kenisha Sprauve and Disaster Management Coordinator Mr. Giovanni Herbert yesterday September 1st, 2021 presented 10 Uniform vouchers to the Family Support Network.
Mrs. Sasha Stoutt, FSN Director received the donation at the Family Support Network Headquarters in Road Town and expressed her gratitude to the club for their generous donation.
In an official comment Youth Services Director Mr. Aaron F Parillon said, “As Director of Youth Services for the Rotary Club Sunrise Road Town in is an honor for us to have been able to contribute to persons in need ahead of the reopening of school. The pandemic has no doubt placed immense strain on families over the past two years and we will continue to do our part in continuing to contribute to the fiber of our society, our youth.”
Additionally, Parillon stated that throughout his tenure as Youth Service Director the club will be making additional contributions to schools in various aspects. Today September 2nd, the Club will yet again make a donation to the Althea Scatliffe Primary School of food items valued at $500 towards the schools Breakfast Pantry.
The vouchers will be given to families currently experiencing hardships and are unable to purchase uniforms for their children who will be starting the school year on September 6th, 2021.
The Rotary Club Sunrise under the presidency of Mrs. Gretchen Hodge-Penn known as the original fun club together along with other Rotary Clubs are known as the Rotary Clubs of the BVI.
