It was a successful win for the Fahie family as they emerged victorious at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park Christmas Family Feud. The Fahie family walked away with $2,500 as the prize with $1000 of the winnings going towards the Cancer society.
The competing families had the opportunity to choose from non-profits such as Spina Bifida Awareness, Family Support Network, BVI Red Cross and BVI Cancer Society.
This is the second Family Feud event hosted by the Tortola Pier Park which is a direct model of the hit American based show.
Four families contested for the title and grand prize namely, The JFC Family (Johnson, Forbes and Cills), Dougan Family, VI Gems and the Fahie Clan.
The family feud competition was a part of the Pier Parks Three-Days of Christmas events, which included a fashion show, live entertainment, “Meet us at the Movies”, a parade, lighting of the Christmas tree, as well as other family friendly activities.
The highly anticipated Clash of the Carolers did not happen again, but organizers say they are looking forward to this feature next year.
