The staff at the Social Security Board and NHI offices are said to be presently operating on a shift team system until further notice due to the limited number of staff brought on by Covid-19 cases.
The shift team system has been implemented by the agency to better manage staff and any possible Coivd-19 exposure while still being able to serve the public. The offices are still open to the public for regular business hours.
Presently, some staff report to work on Monday, Wednesday, Friday while others report on Tuesday and Thursday, this is rotated every other week.

The BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) has shortened the operational hours of the Terrance B Lettsome International Airport after experiencing a reduction in staff due to the present COVID-19 spike in the BVI.
Both the Immigration and Trade departments are reportedly closed to physical operations today January 4 and will be operating remotely.
