THE 3 RECENT COVID-19 DEATHS IDENTIFIED AS ELDERLY RESIDENTS – TOTAL NOW 17 FOR 2022

The three most recent COVID-related deaths have all been identified as senior citizens.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development made the confirmation in a media release issued on Thursday February 10.

He said, “Vulnerable persons should make a special effort to adhere to the public health protocols and avail themselves of opportunities to get vaccinated and boosted to lower their vulnerability to the severe impacts of COVID-19.”

The latest information now means that a total of 17 elderly persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in the BVI so far this year.
