Active COVID-19 cases in the British Virgin Islands continues to gradually decline with cases now down to 63.
This is according to an epidemiological summary dated Monday February 21, which said that the BVI recorded 24 new cases and 30 recoveries on Sunday February 20.
Of the now active 63 cases, 49 are on Tortola, 10 on Virgin Gorda and 2 a piece on Anegada and Jost Van Dyke respectively.
This now mean that local cases are down to 22 and contacts of cases down to 10, while cases detected during travel screening total 31.
The summary states that there are presently 3 persons hospitalised for COVID-19.
The total number of COVID-related deaths in the BVI stands at 62.
