The Bregado Flax Education Centre (BFEC) debate team has officially been named as the 2022 Inter Secondary Debate Champions.
The BFEC faced off against the Claudia Creque Educational Centre of Anegada, and debated the moot “Vaccinations are our passports to economic and social recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic.”
The BFEC speakers, Jada Barrette, Trevi-Ann John, and Ryan Ramlall successfully argued in opposition of the moot, securing not only first place overall but also the best speaker award which was given to Ramlall.
