Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities Honourable Kye Rymer has issued an apology to the public and nearby business owners for the on-going sewage issue in Pasea Estate, next to the Delta gas station.
The apology came during Tuesday evening’s VIP Let’s Talk Radio Programme where the minister addressed the issue.
He said there has been a logistical delay in the materials needed to temporarily fix the issue, stating that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the shipment that was ordered by the government several months ago.
Minister Rymer also removed any blame that the public may direct to the Water and Sewage Department, adding that the department should be commended for the work done to date.
He also thanked the public for being patient on the matter, stating that once the materials arrive, the issue will be rectified expeditiously.
