COVID-19 cases in the British Virgin Islands are once again on the rise with cases presently at 95
This was confirmed by the Ministry of Health in an epidemiological report dated Thursday April 21.
According to the report, 86 of the cases are on Tortola, 8 on Virgin Gorda and 1 on Jost Van Dyke.
A further analysis of the 95 cases revealed that 62 are local and 5 contacts of cases while the remaining 28 were detected through travel screening.
Presently 4 persons are hospitalised at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith hospital and the territory’s total COVID-related death toll remains at 62.
