CINDY ROSAN TO GOVERNOR; “WE WILL NOT ACCEPT A SUSPENSION OF OUR CONSTITUTION.”

In a recent Facebook post, social commentator and political aspirant Cindy Rosan issued her take on the release of the Commission of Inquiry Report.

Rosan began by stating, “I want to be as clear as possible on my position as it relates to the release of the COI report, and the future of these Virgin Islands. The people of the Virgin Islands are firm on our position that we must see the contents of said report before anyone heads off to the UK to discuss, or determine OUR fate/future.”

We will not accept a suspension of our constitution OR INTERIM GOVERNMENT

Meanwhile Rosan who seemingly spoke on behave of the people of the Virgin Islands addressed the possibility of a suspension of the constitution of the Virgin Islands.

She said, “Secondly, Governor, please inform the UK that we will NOT accept a suspension of our Constitution. We will not. Take the appropriate steps with those who are responsible. You, UK in yourself, have been complicit in the actions being carried out in this territory, for decades.  You have turned a blind eye. You are as responsible for where we are at this moment.

We will also NOT accept any interim Government. In any way, shape or form; even made up of Virgin Islanders. We don’t care who it is. We will NOT accept any infringement on our democracy, or any attack on the advancements that our forefathers have made.”

Dissolve the HOA and call elections

Eludito

Speaking to the urgent need for a dissolution of the House of Assembly, Rosan advised that the Govenror of the Virgin Island dissolve the House of Assembly and call election.

“Governor, please advise the UK that their options are to DISSOLVE the HOA. Per our constitution, call elections within two months after. Have any culprits sit out an election or two, and any other recommendations per the constitution. The BVI is not the Turks & Caicos. An international incident is waiting to happen. I would hate that, but the ground isn’t sounding good. You the Governor, the overseas Minister, and the UK, MUST involve the people of the Virgin Islands. Work with US. Anything else WILL BE REJECTED.”
