Speaker of the House of Assembly Julian Willock has issued his resignation following a request made by the Acting Premier Dr. the Honourable Natalio Wheatley.
This was confirmed moments ago during the on-going sitting of the House of Assembly, where Willock made the announcement.
Willock also listed some of the accomplishments he achieved while at the helm of the House of Assembly, adding that a more in depth statement on the matter will be forthcoming to the public in short order.
Willock has been the center of controversy since being appointed as the Speaker of the House of Assembly in 2019.
