Confirmed reports reaching our newsroom have stated that a BVI Customs Officer died this morning while on duty at Her Majesty Customs Office building in Pasea Estate, BVI.
The name of the officer is known but is being withheld until family members have been notified.
The circumstances surrounding his death are unknown.
In an official statement the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force said. “Police received a report early this morning, of an unresponsive male at BVI Customs Office on May 4th. He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene. Circumstances surrounding his death are unknown at this time. Investigations are ongoing.”
