Premier Dr. The Honourable Natalio Wheatley says he remains hopeful that a decision from the United Kingdom Government will be forthcoming within the coming days relating to his government’s proposal to tackle the Commission of Inquiry (COI) recommendations under democratic governance.
Premier Wheatley made the disclosure during Friday’s press conference while responding to questions posed by 284News.
Dr. Wheatley who is also the Minister of Finance assured residents that the plan will be made publicly available in due course.
On Wednesday May 11, Premier Wheatley revealed that his National Unity Government submitted a proposal to the United Kingdom Government detailing their agenda to implement the recommendations from the Commission of Inquiry (COI) Report under democratic governance.
He said the proposal was submitted to the United Kingdom’s Minister for Overseas Territories, the Right Honourable Amanda Milling.
