Virgin Voyages and the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection are the two new cruise companies that will be berthing to the British Virgin Islands for the 2022-2023 cruise season after a BVI delegation successfully secured a total of 417 calls to the territory.
This was announced by the Deputy Premier and Minister for Communication and Works Honourable Kye Rymer at a press conference today Friday May 13.
He said the BVI team which travelled to the recently held annual SeaTrade summit in Miami, Florida were able to negotiate more calls to the territory for the upcoming season.
Minister Rymer also reported favourable feedback from the summit regarding the territory’s guest ratings.
He said the BVI received a rating identified as “the friendliest of locals”.
