McMASTER SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDS HIS COMMONWEALTH GAMES TITLE

Local top hurdler Kyron McMaster successfully defended his Commonwealth Games title in the Men’s 400-meter hurdles event this afternoon.

Running out of lane 7, McMaster sailed to the finish line in a time of 48.93 seconds to take the gold.

Second place went to Jamaica’s Jaheel Hyde with 49.78 seconds while third went to Guernsey’s Alastair Chalmers with a time of 49.97 seconds.
