SSB IN THE FINAL STAGE OF THE VERIFICATION PROCESS FOR APPLICANTS OF THE JOE’S HILL MANOR ESTATE HOMES

Qualified residents are just one step closer to potentially owning a home on Tortola as the selection process for applications submitted for the Joe’s Hill Manor Estate homes has commenced.

This was confirmed by the Social Security Board (SSB) on Wednesday via an announcement made on SSB’s social media pages.

“The Social Security Board is pleased to announce that they have begun the applicant selection process for prospective homeowners of the Joe’s Hill Manor Estate,” the SSB stated.

It added, “The organization has outlined the phases of the selection process in the attached images. If you submitted an application for a home and have not yet been contacted, please call 852-7805 or 852-7827. For more information, visit www.vissb.vg or e-mail ssbhd@vissb.vg.”

According to the SSB, the application selection process will involve three phases. These include the Verification phase, the Pre-Approval phase and the Selection phase.

In the Verification phase, each applicant will receive a verification form via email.

“The completed form should be returned within 5 days of acknowledged receipt. Confirmed Applicants will be required to attend the Joe’s Hill Manor Estate Homeowners Workshop,” the SSB stated.

Once verified, the SSB said those applicants will be invited to view the home for which they applied.

“Verified applicants will seek financial pre-approval from their bank of choice to fund their respective home,” the SSB added.

The final phase of the process, the Selection phase, is where prospective homeowners will be selected via “The Lottery Draw” process.

“The selected homeowners will have 60 days to finalize their mortgage and inform the Social Security Board accordingly,” the SSB explained.
