The British Virgin Islands is expected to experience unstable weather conditions throughout the course of today with a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms tonight.
This is according to the latest weather forecast by the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) which was published earlier this morning.
The DDM said the unstable weather conditions are linked to a lingering trough which will continue to affect the region today.
The BVI is forecasted to be cloudy with a 70 percent or high chance of showers, with a possible rainfall total of 0.5 to 1.50 inches.
Winds are expected to flow from the southeast at 4 to 12 miles per hour with sea swells of 3 to 5 feet.
Sunset is expected to take place at 6:08 pm.
