The mother of the high school student who is the alleged victim of recent acts of bullying has confirmed that one of the perpetrator has been arrested and charged.
Mrs. Asma Muhammed recently sat down with 284Media to speak on the horrid chain of events that she said has left her son fearful for his life.
According to reports, the alleged perpetrator was equipped with a brass knuckle and a knife with the brass knuckle seen used to harm Mrs. Muhammed’s son in a recent viral video.
She said a November date has been set for the case to be heard before the magistrates court.
Mrs. Muhammed said she would like to see more done with the other students who she said was also involved in some of the other incidents.
The mother of five said she continues to teach her children daily about the act of bullying, stating that she herself was a victim of bullying, something that still impacts her to date.
Mrs. Muhammed said the situation is presently tough on her son and her family but said she remains strong and calm for the betterment of her loved ones.
