Loved ones are now grieving and a community left in shock after a woman was pronounced dead on the scene after a vehicle allegedly lost control and hit the woman. The accident victim has been confirmed as Ms. Brenda Belle.
The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday November 26th, in the Parking Lot of One Mart Superstore in Port Purcell, Tortola.
Several persons are said to have witnessed the ordeal, along with a video being circulated of the incident.
In a brief media statement the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force said, “The RVIPF can confirm that a female succumbed to injuries sustained last night as a result of a traffic accident while she stood in a lot opposite to One-Mart Supermarket. Investigations are ongoing.”
