The American Airlines direct flights to the British Virgin Islands from Miami are expected to be “affordable” with a seating capacity that will range from between 60-76 passengers.
While not providing approximate figures to determine the extent of the affordability of tickets to the territory come next June, Deputy Premier and Minister for Communication and Works Hon. Kye Rymer did say he was given assurance by the airline that the prices will be in an affordable range.
Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. the Hon. Natalio Wheatley along with the Managing Director of the BVI Ports Authority Mr. Kurt Menal explained how the convenience of the initiative will contribute to the lowering of cost for all passengers.
