A teenager has been charged and granted bail in relation to the recent stabbing death of 23-year-old Nayib Clarke.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) gave the confirmation in a recent media release following the incident which occurred last weekend.
“One minor has been charged with manslaughter in relation to the recent stabbing incident in Virgin Gorda on December 3, 2022. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail in the amount of $70,000 with one surety. He will return to court in January 2023,” the RVIPF stated.
An initial report from the police indicated that Clarke succumbed to his injuries after being stabbed on the sister island on Saturday evening.
