NEW TEAM TO BE FORMED FOR DISCUSSIONS WITH UK GOVT ON NEW CONSTITUTION

The Constitutional Review Commission (CRC) will be disbanded following the completion of the final review report and a separate negotiation team created to discuss the information gathered in the report with the United Kingdom Government.

Chairman of the Commission Mrs. Lisa Penn-Lettsome made the clarification during a recent interview with 284Media.

Penn-Lettsome did reveal that she is likely to be a part of the negotiation team, if the previous practice is followed to include the chairman in the negotiation team.

The Chairman also said she anticipates that the final report should be completed between 6-9 months following the conclusion of the community meetings.

She also explained how the report will be presented.
